Participant: Any young professionals at the age of 18 - 30 (NO age limit for SS section)

* Sub-Degree / UnderGraduate / PostGraduate / OpeN Section champion is eligible to nominate one team member to enter Present Around The World (PATW) Hong Kong Round, where four of them would compete in late July 2017 for the opportunity to join PATW Asia-Pacific Round in Australia (Flight sponsored by the IET).

Deliverables

SS SECTION

Each Secondary School team has to submit:

Project Abstract

 

> No more than 200 words in English
> Microsoft Word format
> Assessed for screening (if necessary) and competition
> Appendix is welcomed as supporting material

 

Standard template of the project abstract is available in DOWNLOADS. Each team shall email the abstract to submission@ietypec.org by the DUE DATE.

Presentation

 

> 10-min Presentation + 5-min Q&A
> English ONLY
> Multimedia presentation
> Students in proper school uniform

 

Structure (not restricted except for front page)
> Front page (inc. team member names, school name, project title)
> Content page
> Introduction and background
> Main body of presentation
> Conclusion

 

Equipment provision by the Organiser
> A microphone system
> A desktop and video projector
> A pointer

Teams are also allowed to bring own presentation devices and materials. 

 

Each team shall email the presentation to submission@ietypec.org by the DUE DATE.

 Product

 

The “product” could be a model, photos or videos that demonstrate the ideas of the project.

Exhibition Booth

 

Each team has to set up an exhibition booth to explain and demonstrate their project ideas.

> 1x White exhibition board
> 2x Light bulbs at the top of the board
> 1x Table
> 2x Chairs
> 220V AC Power sockets
